Born Oct. 16, 1906, in Hinton, he was a son of the late Charles J. Dressler and Lottie Briers Dressler.
Mr. Dressler lived the early part of his life in Hinton, lived at Falls Church for several years and was a retired insurance salesman.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Criser Dressler: one son Thomas Dressler of Pittsburgh: two daughters, Mrs. Janet Davis of Seattle,Wash. and Mrs. Gwendolyn Woody of Falls Church: two brothers, Ernest Dressler of Columbus and William E. Dressler of Hinton: four sisters, Mrs. Louise Salisbury of Manassas, VA., Mrs. Kathleen Loftus of Hinton, Mrs. Daisy Mae Fink of Kimberly, and Mrs. Barbara Withrow of Farmington, Mich. and five grandchildren.
Services were held here Monday at 3p.m. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Home in Hinton. Burial followed in the Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. 1/25/80
