He was born in Hagerstown, a son of the late Abraham and Lizzie Kaplan Saltzman.
He was a member of B'Nai Abraham Synagogue, Hagerstown, and was a lifelong member of the Junior Fire Company.
He was employed by the Seven Pint Hoisery Co., Burlington, N.C., and was the last surviving member of his generation.
He is survive by his widow Genevieve Mose Saltzman, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday at the Coffman Funeral Home with Rabbi Stanley Skolnik officiating. Burial was in B'Nai Abraham Cemetery, Halfway.
