MRS. ELLA GREEN MILLS

DIED TODAY IN CHICAGO



Mrs. Ella Green Mills, member of an old and prominent Quincy family died this
morning in Chicago of pneumonia, according to a telegram received by Dean
Richardson. The remains will be brought here for burial, and the funeral will be
held in Woodland cemetery. Mrs. Mills was a life-long member of the Cathedral of St.
John, but on account of the quarantine, services cannot be held there.

The deceased is survived by two children, a daughter, Mrs. Sidney Austin, of
Chicago, and a son, Lieut. Kenneth Mills, who is in France, and one grandchild,
James Sidney Austin. She left here about six years ago.
