SPARKS — Myra Inita Martin Willis, 80, of Sparks, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center.


Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Buck Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Old Ty Ty Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Danny Botton, Stephen Botton, Mike Willis, Ronnie Vinson, Richard Norman and Jimmy Norman.

Deacons of Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church will serve as honorary casketbearers.

Born Aug. 18, 1934, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Ryan Carroll Martin and Rebecca Maebell Tucker Martin. She was a retired educator with the Cook County School System and was a member of Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Vinson; two brothers, Raymond Martin and Willard Martin.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil “Bud” Willis of Sparks; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Willis of Sparks and Myra Lee Willis Fussell and husband Buddy of Sparks; four grandchildren, Rebecca Fussell, Jessica Fussell, Willis Fussell and Taylor Sumner; five great grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Norman of Orange Park, Fla.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
