John P. O'Toole, Sr. (Pecky), passed away peacefully on March 21, 2015. Husband of Geraldine(nee Bucholz); father of 3 daughters, Geraldine and Denise O'Toole, Karen Farrell(Harold), and 3 sons, John, Jr.(Audrey), Michael(Kay) and Jeffrey(Tammy); also survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He became a fighter who overcame any obstacle that was in front of him and would instill this in his children and grandchildren. Not only did he never give up on himself, but he never gave up on his family and loved them all the same. He was loving and kind to those he met in life and never turned a blind eye to help them out.
He was the son of Benjamin R. O'Toole, Sr. and Anna M. O'Toole(nee Ferro); brother of Mary L. Koller(nee O'Toole), Ann Weney, Albert(Joan)O'Toole and Joan and John Pacitti(Joan's maiden name is O'Toole). Also surviving John is his sister-in-law Joan(Doebley)O'Toole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by brothers, Benjamin R. O'Toole, Jr., Robert O'Toole, Sr., Harry J. O'Toole, Sr. He was also predeceased by 2 nephews, Albert F. O'Toole, Jr. and Daniel P. O'Toole.
When I would call Johnny on his cell phone in the later morning, I'd ask him where he was and he invariably said "I'm going to Wawa to get a cup of coffee." I hope there are Wawas in Heaven.
My brother Johnny was one of a kind. I shall miss him forever.
