Joann Marie Sackewitz, age 82, of Rosamond, passed away on March 7, 2015 in Mojave.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Valeta Elliot, her husband Paul Sackewitz, her bothers Victor and Richard Elliot, her sister Joyce Martz, her children Edward Hunt and Carmen Powers Hunt, her granddaughter Valeta Mullenix, and her great grandson Daniel Cole.She is survived by her children, Ron and Jodie Hunt of Rosamond, CA, Jake and Jean Mullenix of California City, CA; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; and the family would like to give a special gratification to her bonus children and care givers, Linda and Wayne Cross.Her legacy will continue through the lives of her beloved family. She will be missed but never forgotten.The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 12:00PM at Stickel Mortuary Funeral Home, 2201 Inyo St, Mojave, CA. 93501. Burial will follow at Mojave Cemetery, Mojave.
