Elaine Herman Peters 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday March 11th 2015. She was born August 30th 1936 to Eugene O. and Edith Isom Herman. She grew up in Provo, Utah where she graduated from Provo High School in 1954. She worked at Mountain Bell as a telephone operator. She met and married Paul Richard Peters on November 1st 1955. They moved to American Fork, Utah

She had many talents: she enjoyed gardening, refinishing furniture, hand needlework and was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed making pillows and giving them away or sometimes selling them.

She was also a member of the Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member when they hosted the first Fireman's Breakfast.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she held various positions in the Primary and Young Women Organizations.

She is survived by her 4 children: Kathy (Dan) Loveland, Paul G. Peters, Shaun C. Peters and Step-Son Gary R. (Jeanette) Herbert. 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. One brother Ron (Lenise) Herman and One sister Corinne Pugh.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother: Helen Brown, Merlene Batty and Eugene Herman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 17, 2015 at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. There will be a viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
