Stella Janette Hallett, 79, West Green Harbour, died March 16, 2000, at home. Born at East Sable River, she was a daughter of the late Sydney and Arella (Belong) Thompson. She was a member of the Harbour Light Pentecostal Church, East Green Harbour and also a member of the Women's Ministeries Group.

Surviving are son, Clifford, West Green Harbour; Everett, Kingston; Sydney, West Green Harbour; daughters, Kathleen Townsend, West Green Harbour; Linda Black and Loretta Decker, New Minas; brothers, Burns Thompson, Halifax; Jerome Thompson, Sable River; William Thompson, West Port L'Herbert; sisters, Nora Hemeon, Pleasant Point; Ann Wolfe, West Port L'Herbert; Helen Smith, Halifax; Phyllis Westlake, Truro; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by husband, Amos Ruben Hallett; son, Ray; daughter, Delilah; sisters, Hazel Stuart, Hilda Smith; three grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons.

Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Lockeport. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday in the Harbour Light Pentcostal Church, East Green Harbour, Rev. Ron Coole officiating. Burial in Scotts Cemetery, West Green Harbour. Family flowers only. Donations to the Harbour Light Pentecostal Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
