FELIX LAUREN OF SAXON DIES FRIDAY

Born in Champion and Resided in Saxon For Last 16 Years.

Felix Lauren of Saxon, who pursued the work of a carpenter and contractor, died at 2:40 yesterday afternoon at the home after an illness of several months with a heart ailment and complications.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at St. Anne's church in Saxon with the Rev. S. Girouard officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery. Mr. Lauren was a member of St. Anne's choir for many years.

Mr. Lauren was 54 years old. He was born in Champion, Mich., May 18, 1879. He lived in Hurley seven years before moving to Saxon in 1917.

He is survived by the widow and eight children. They are Fred and Victor of Saxon, Mrs. Julia Mashl and Mrs. Vern Downey of Saxon, Miss Irene who is employed at Crookston, Minn., Adele, Roseanna and Annette at home.

The three brothers are Eugene of Saxon, Royal of Tonawanda, N. Y., Osias of Verner, Ont. The three sisters are Mrs. Peter Paquette of Osias, Canada, Mrs. Peter Robar of Escanaba and Mrs. Oscar Viau of Northland, Mich.
