MRS. HENRY COURTAD
Cleveland Resident Dies at Home of Sister in Carey, Sunday

Mrs. Henry Courtad, Cleveland, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Catherine Kromer, on West Fourth Street, in Carey, Sunday evening at 7:00. Death resulted unexpectedly from a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Courtad came Friday for a visit with her sister.

Rosie Benner, the daughter of the late John and Magdelene Benner, was born Oct. 31, 1864, at Sandusky City. She was married to Henry Courtad, thirty-seven years ago. Mr. Courtad died January 23, 1920. The following children survive this union, Aloysius, Robert, Raymond, and Miss Bertha Courtad and Mrs. Marcella Roach, all of Cleveland. Surviving step-children are Jerome, Edward, and Alfred Courtad, Mrs. Mary Lais, and Sister M. Odile, of Sister of Mary, also all of Cleveland. There are 13 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Louis and Frank Benner, Mrs. Elizabeth Seifert, Mrs. Caroline Weinandy and Miss Mary Benner of Upper Sandusky, and Mrs. Kromer, of Carey, at the home Mrs. Courtad died. A brother, Charles Benner, is deceased.

The body was removed to the P. C. Goff Funeral Home to be prepared for burial and this Monday morning was taken to her late home in Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at Cleveland.

She died on 14 August 1932 at the age of 67 in Carey, Crawford Township, Wyandot County, Ohio, USA. She was buried on 18 August 1932 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA. Note: Rosie died of cerebral hemorrhage (from death certificate). Parents: Johannes BENNER and Magdalena Mary COURTAD (COURTADE) .
