TREMBLAY, Phyllis Jean 'Mrs. T' Born on October 4, 1930. Last remaining original owner of the Lazy 'T' Ranch, Passed away Monday morning, June 25, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Antelope Acres at 81 years of age. She moved to Palmdale in 1972, with her husband Joe to raise their four children making constant improvements to the property to result in what the Lazy 'T' Ranch is known as today. Mrs. T loved the friendly environment of the Horse Boarding business where she thoroughly enjoyed hosting ranch and holiday parties and made many lifelong friends. Unknown to most, Mrs. T had an acting career starting with a radio contract at age 4, and later working in movies with numerous big name actors such as John Wayne, Bing Crosby, and Jerry Lewis. Working in many films such as the 1939, Oscar winner Gone With the Wind, also doubling for Natilee Wood and Elizabeth Taylor. Mrs. T is survived by her four children Jay Tremblay, Susan Nichols, Janet Marsh, and Leo Tremblay. Nine grandchildren, Brittany and Jalynn Tremblay, Albert J. and Kenneth Nichols, James and Denise Marsh, Sean, Brent and Jeffery Tremblay and numerous great- grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held at the Lazy T Ranch Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 2 p.m. Arrangement entrusted to Halley Olsen Murphy , Palmdale. www.halleyolsenmurphychapels.com
