Sharon M. Sorenson passed away on March 6, 2015 at her home in Levan.

She was born November 21, 1935 in Fairview, the daughter of Charles Aaron and Ora May Shepherd.

She graduated from Lehi High School and then attended LDS Business School.

She was married to Edward Booth Sorenson, Jr. for time and eternity in the Hawaiian Temple on December 26, 1956.

Her husband was serving in the U.S. Air Force and they travelled to Japan, where he finished his tour of duty. They returned to Utah in 1958 and Sharon worked at BYU registrars office while her husband attended graduate school.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held numerous positions throughout the years. She was an amazing lady with a strong testimony and a resilient spirit.

She was a wonderful wife, adoring mother, and doting grandma who will be sorely missed by many friends and family.

Preceded in death by her oldest son, Bret Charles Sorenson, and her parents. She is survived by her husband; her brother and wife, Kent and Leita Shepherd; her sister and husband, LaRaine and Don Littleford; her children, Lisa and Doug Forrest, Ed Sorenson, Chris and Beckie Sorenson, and Nicol and Greg Legakis; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be held at the LDS Church in Levan on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be held in the church at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
She will then be interred in the Lehi City Cemetery.
