Robert Leon Gilliland, 61, of Bloomington, died April 9, 2005 at Select Specialty Hospital.
Born April 29, 1943, he was the son of Custer and Mary (Fowler) Gilliland.
A 1961 graduate of Bloomington High School South, he attended Smithville Christian Church, loved to watch I.U. basketball, and do board games and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include one brother, Carl Gilliland of Bloomington; two aunts; two nieces; two nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; special friends Stacy Waldon #3 and Don Patterson #1, both of Bloomington; and his caregiver, Sandy Phillips of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an uncle and several aunts.
Burial will be at Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
