Willard A. McQueary, 55, Fountaintown, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.
Born May 28, 1943, in Russell County, Ky., he was the son of Arlis M. and Edith E. (Tucker) McQueary.
On Jan. 10, 1969, he married Linda (Higdon) McQueary, and she survives.
Mr. McQueary was an independent truck driver for 34 years and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodge in Shelbyville.
Survivors also include two daughters, Pam Palme, Denver, Colo., and Colleen Hobson, Evergreen, Colo.; three sons, Lonnie McQueary, Shelbyville, Willie J. McQueary, Fountaintown, and Jeremy McQueary, Mays; his mother, Missouri; four brothers, Matthew McQueary and Dean McQueary, both of Missouri, and Randy McQueary and Kelly McQueary, both of Colorado; two sisters, Sharlene Woods and Teresa Wade, both of Colorado; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rob Pelkey officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Military rites will be conducted by local veterans' organizations.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
