PULASKI – Charles G. Cook, Jr., 39, of 7409 Lincoln Ave. died unexpectedly Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Cook Sr. of Lantana, Fla.

He was born June 3, 1941, in Cortland and was educated in Cortland schools. He married Ruth A. Miller April 13, 1974, in DeWitt Community Church.

Cook was a Post-Standard distributor in northern Oswego County area and for the past two years he was an independent taxi operator in Syracuse.

He was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and its choir. He also was a member and second year president of the Pulaski Lions Club.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Miller, and his parents.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Park United Methodist church, the Rev. Oland Morris officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Park United Methodist Church, 7445 Hubble St.

Contributions may be made to the Pulaski Lions Club.
