Robert A. Brummer
OSBORNE — Robert A. Brummer, 82, Osborne, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007. Mr. Brummer was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Osborne County. He was a mechanic and owned and operated Robert Brummer Repair in Osborne.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie, in 1999; and a son, Leroy, in October 2006.
Survivors include four daughters, Peggy Henningsen and Bobbie Strawn, both of McPherson, Mary Jane Newingham of Salina and Kay Shannon of Inavale, Neb.; two sons, Leon of Osborne and Eugene of Salina; a sister, Alberta King of Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, Ed of Stockton, Johnny of Carson City, Nev., and Leo of Osborne; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Osborne. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery. A rosary and vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, 238 N. First, Osborne 67473. Memorials may be made for Masses or to the Arthritis Foundation. Visitation will be from 2 -to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
