Mrs. Frank J. Schepley

Mrs. Clara A. Schepley known to thousands of John Carroll University students in her 18 years as cashier in the cafeteria there, died in Holy Family Hospital yesterday. She was 72.

Mrs. Schepley was "mother" to many of the students who saw her daily during their terms at the university. Her home was at 1889 Belmore Road, East Cleveland.

She was active in the work of St. Philomena Catholic Church and before that in St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

Her husband, Frank J., a pressman for the Lawrence Publishing Co., later the Capper Publishing Co., died 18 years ago.

Mrs. Schepley is survived by three sons, Frank, John, and Roberts; a daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Peppard, and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Schulte funeral home, 5244 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, today and tomorrow. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Road, Lynhurst. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
