Herbert was one of nine children born to Vernest Sylvester and Elsie D. (Kubal) Warner. He grew up in Loveland and as an adult he owned and operated HR Warner House Moving and Larimer County House Moving until 1976. Herbert then relocated to California for about 12 years, returned to Loveland for about 15 years and then returned to California for the remainder of his life.
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. He was survived by two daughters; three brothers; one sister; and four grandchildren.
