Crash Kills Ex-Roman
Gladwyn VanCourt, 23, of Derby, Conn., formerly of Rome, was killed in a two-car highway collision Saturday.
He was born in Rome Sept. 13, 1944, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow VanCourt and attended Rome schools.
Besides his parents, who now reside in Derby, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. John (Faye) McCall, Derby, and Mrs. Donavan (Carolyn) Case, Utica: a grandfather, William VanCourt, Stanwix; aunts and uncles in Rome.
He was buried in St. Jude's Cemetery, Derby.
