George Wilson "Archie" Leeson, 73, died on February 18, 1977 in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri at the Methodist Medical Center. Mr. Leeson died from congestive heart failure at 11:10 p.m. after sustaining a myocardial infarction on January 21, 1977. Also, he had a history of arteriosclerotic heart disease.

Archie was the son of George William and Cynthia Mae Massey Leeson and was born on October 23, 1903 in Helena, Andrew County, Missouri. He was the middle child. He had 9 siblings: James Wesley Leeson, Rada Mae Leeson Abels, Zella Massey Leeson, Harry T. Leeson, Charles Leeson, Carl George Leeson, Leroy D. Leeson, Dorothy May Leeson Coy, and Tommy Leeson. Archie was a used furniture dealer and never married nor had any children of his own.

Funeral services were held on February 18, 1977 at the Jackson Funeral Home of Savannah, Missouri.

He is buried at the Savannah Cemetery and shares a plot with his youngest brother, Tommy.
