Elizabeth was the daughter of Malcolm and Barbara Butles McFall. Elizabeth married John Augustine on September 23, 1824 in Boardman Twp, Trumbull Co, OH. They had eight children, Nancy, Barbara, Henry, Catherine, Emeline, Anna, Abraham and Amanda.

GRANT COUNTY WITNESS, WED., FEB. 16, 1887; DIED, AUGUSTINE; At the residence of her daughter in the city of Platteville, Feb. 10, 1887, of palsy parallesis, Mrs. Elizabeth Augustine, wife of the late John Augustine, age 84 years and 23 days. She was born in Pennsylvania near the Alleghany mountains in the year 1803, Jan. 18. She leaves three sisters and five daughters to mourn her loss.
