Goldie was our little girl although technically, she was my Christmas present. She didn't know that and loved everybody equally. She knew so many people, her favorites being Hollie, Keeley, and Hye. She also knew a few other furbabies, but only tolerated them. She was only interested in being "the" dog in the house, which she was, for her entire life.

She was born in Colorado and grew up there. There was a wooden fence in the backyard where occasionally squirrels would sit or run across the top board and she would bark like mad to get out there and get one. She loved running like the wind in the park behind our condo. We moved to Illinois and she spent her remaining 4 years here. She would chase the rabbits a little in the backyard until they went in separate directions; then she'd stand there and look back and forth for them.

I don't think she liked it as well in Illinois, she had her favorite park, walking trail and various other outdoor places in Colorado as well as lots of sun for sunbathing...one of her favorite past times. She had a tv stand with a rug on top in front of the big front window in Colorado where she spent a lot of time. She was happy just to be with us and she made us happy just by being herself.
