This is known because their 6th child was born in Kentucky in July 1850, and by the time of the 1850 census in November, the Faught family was residing in District 52 of Macon County, Missouri.

William's wife Clarinda died in 1877, leaving him with these four very young children.

Gertrude Faught 1884-1900
Willa Mae (Faught) Lewis 1885-1956

Second wife Mary died in 1900.

On November 14, 1901, in Macon County, Missouri, William married Sarah Ann "Sallie" (Dale) Smoot who had been a widow since March of that year. Sallie was 42 and William was 57 at this time. Sallie had 4 known children from her previous marriage to Armsterd Smoot (1844-1901):

George Allen "Al" Amoot 1882-1973
John W. Smoot 1884-

William Lister Faught may not have a stone as one cannot be found. Or, it may be buried or destroyed. This writer has found other stones in this cemetery which have fallen and become buried over time.
