He was a retired Woodfin-Smith Pontiac employee and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 10 a.m. Tuesday until religious services at noon, conducted by the Rev. Tom Goodman. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Elouise Day; two daughters, Pat Harrison, Baton Rouge, and Judy Arceneaux, Haughton; a brother, Carroll D. Day, Baton Rouge; and six grandchildren. He was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church and VFW Zachary Taylor Post No. 3784.
