Pauline Higgins, age 86, of Claremore, Oklahoma, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Claremore.
She was born March 6, 1928 in Pine Ridge, Arkansas, the daughter of John C. and Hattie Mae Payne Bates.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Gene Higgins.

She was a retired bank officer for the Bank of Fayetteville and a member of the First Baptist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Briscoe and husband Wayne of Claremore, Oklahoma and Crystal McGregor and husband John of Wake Forest, North Carolina; a sister, Beulah Osborn of Marianna, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kelly Hastings and husband Andy, Robin Todd and husband James, John Thomas McGregor III and Ian McGregor; five great-grandchildren, Emma Hastings, Payton Hastings, Noah Hastings, Addison Todd and Micah Todd.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Moore’s Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
