Willis met and married a Georgia girl and appears to have made his life there. They were in Hapeville, Fulton County, Georgia in the 1930 census and Auraria Militia district 821, Lumpkin, Georgia in 1940 with no children listed. This time he was listed as Allen W. Fisher and was employed as a carpenter. He had completed two years of college.
