Morriss Barret III KODAK, TN - Morriss Barret III, 89, widower of Mary Miller Barret, passed away Wednesday January 28, 2015 in a Knoxville,TN hospital. Mr. Barret was born in Washington, DC, a son of the late Morriss Barret II and Etta Wright Barret. He graduated from Virginia Tech, where he received his BA in Electrical Engineering. He was a retired Electrical Engineer from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and he was a World War II Navy Veteran. Surviving are his two children; great-granddaughter; a stepson; and a grandaughter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the Indiantown Presbyterian Church Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery, 4865 Hemingway Highway, Hemingway, SC 29554. The family will receive friends from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.
