Husband of Helen G. Lipchitz who resided in New Haven, Connecticut.

Theodore served as a Second Lieutenant & Navigator on B-17G "Anoxia Queen" #42-39819, 568th Bomber Squadron, 390th Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Kings County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 26, 1942 in the District Of Columbia. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Office Clerk and also as Single, without dependents.

Theodore was "Killed In Action" when his B-17 was hit by German flak and crashed about 12 miles West of Ostend Harbor, Belgium in the North Sea during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster and the Purple Heart.
