Paul Googe Allbritton, 74, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, in Grenada. He was born in Charleston on March 23, 1940, to Lesley Franklin Allbritton and Myrtle Winters. Mr. Allbritton was a retired butcher.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jean Allbritton of Grenada; sons, Ricky (Tammy) Allbritton and Lesley Paul (Nichole) Allbritton of Charleston; daughters, Helen Joann (James) Allbritton-Trusty of Cascilla, Anna Estella Bardo of Grenada, and Vicky (Richard) Allen of Water Valley; brother, R. D. Allbritton of Cascilla; sisters, Rivers Dunagin of Cascilla and Ernestine (Doyle) Kendall of Cascilla; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; along with a host of other step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Mr. Albritton was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward and Dody Allbritton; and sisters, Louise Allbritton and Sarah Mildred Winters.
A visitation will be held at Garner-Harper Funeral Home in Grenada on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at North Shady Grove Church of God in Cascilla at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, followed by internment at North Shady Grove Cemetery in Cascilla.
Garner-Harper Funeral Home in Grenada is in charge of arrangements.
