Troy Wayne Wenger, 28, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his home in Dalhart, TX
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart, with burial in the Countryside Mennonite Cemetery, Hartley, Texas under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart, TX


Troy was born March 2, 1982, to Wayne and Grace Wenger at Demopolis, Alabama. He moved with his family to Texas in 1996 and farmed with his dad. He was a member of the Countryside Mennonite Church.

In November 1999, Troy was involved in a farm accident which left him dependent on others for his care. His death was the result of complications from his accident.

Survivors include his parents Wayne and Grace Wenger of the home. Two brothers, Phil and wife Cynthia of Longwood, Florida; Ross and wife Kerissa of Wrens, Georgia; two sisters, Kim and Clark Schafer, Dalhart, Texas; Calla of the home, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elton Wenger of Moundridge, Kansas., Five nephews, and three nieces,
