On March 30 typhoid fever caused the death of an honest, hard-working young man of near New Paris, Henry W. Logue, who was aged 22 years, three months and 19 days. Henry and his brother, Albert had their home with their mother and were her only support. Rev. W. E. Fredericks, pastor of the Evangelical church, conducted the funeral services. Interment was made in the Evangelical cemetery.
