CLARK, Laura
age 88, passed away April 23, 2006, with many family members by her side in Los Angeles. Laura was born January 17, 1918, in Delta, Utah and grew up in Hinkley, Utah. She was a member of the Leona Valley Ward and previous member of the Lake LA Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She Arrived in Los Angeles in 1935, and married Floyd W. Clark, who passed away in June of 1989. They came to the Antelope Valley in 1970, and Laura retired from Lockheed after 41 years of service as an Electrician. She is survived by three children, Geri Ward and her husband Russell of Montclair, Carolyn Laudig and her husband Gary, who passed away, of Lancaster, Daryl Clark and his wife Joni of Simi Valley; one brother, Joe Rawlinson and his wife Elaine of the San Fernando Valley, and one sister DeReta Matthews and her husband Toby, who passed away, of Chatsworth. She also leaves 20 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her long time friend and caregiver Betsy Ramos. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday April 27, 2006, Halley-Olsen- Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster. Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Friday, April 28, 2006, at the Leona Valley Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9044 West Leona Avenue, Leona Valley. Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
