In Hadley Dec 30, Mrs. Abigail Dickinson, relict of Mr. John Dickinson, aged 85. She was born in Northampton (Pascommuck) Oct 12, 1747, and was a daughter of Daniel Alexander. Her brother, Daniel Alexander, died in Chesterfield last year, aged 89, and one of her sisters, Widow Martha Wright, of this town is 88. There have been several other instances of longevity in the Alexander family. John Alexander (grandfather of the first Daniel) died in this town in 1733, aged 88. His brother Nathaniel Alexander, died in Hadley, in 1742 aged 90. Samuel Alexander, who lived the life of a hermit in a weaver's shop on Market Streed died in 1763, aged 85.
