group who unselfishly gave
their lives for their country.

5th Air Force
April 1942 - September 1945
Operated from Australia,
New Guinea, Dutch East Indies,
Philippines and Ie Shima.

Fought under the motto
Best Damn Bomb Group
in the World

Erected 1985 by 90th Bomb Group Association.

Location. 39° 46.769′ N, 84° 6.783′ W. Marker is in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, in Montgomery County. Click for map. Marker (Memorial #146) is in the Memorial Park of the National Museum of the United States Air Force, with museum access off Springfield Street. Marker is at or near this postal address: 1100 Spaatz Street, Dayton OH 45433, United States of America.
