William Henry's first marriage was to Agnes Ann Douglas who died soon after their first child was born, Edna Mildred Kidd (1895). Then he married Lulu Gay Aldridge in 1899 and they had Walter Wendall (1901), Wilma Beryl (1902), Dorothy E (1904), Theodore (1907), Lawrence Jaoquin (1910) and Marion (1913).
He was an OM Sergeant in Co. E of the California Infantry during the Spanish-American War.
He was living with children Lawrence and Wilma in Long Beach, CA, when he entered a disabled veterans home and was discharged in September of 1930. He and wife Lulu were divorced at the time.
