Doris Lucille Shaw, 81, of Palestine, IL, died at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, IL. She was born August 18, 1922 in Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of Ralph Seaney and Minnie Brashear Seaney. She was a homemaker, a member of the Robinson American Legion Auxiliary Post #69, and the Palestine Eagles Auxiliary.
She married Harry Shaw on September 14, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 11, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 8 brothers, Austin, Leo Hubert, Robert, Ralph, Don, George, and Ray Seaney; and her sister, Melva Wilson.
She is survived by 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, June and Harold McDaniel, rural Palestine, Frances and Fred Rodgers, rural Robinson; 3 sisters-in-law, Ava Seaney, Robinson, Janet Seaney, Palestine, and Marlene Seaney, Palestine; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
