SCHAFFER -- On Thursday evening, Oct. 1st, WILLIAM L. SCHAFFER, JR., late druggist of this city. His relatives and friends are respectively invited to meet his funeral at St. Luke's Church, Germantown, this Saturday afternoon, at 5 o'clock punctually.

W.L. Shaffer Jr. was the son of David Schaffer (8 August 1802-15 October 1839).
William Lehman Schaffer (1805-1884), also buried in Laurel Hill, was David Schaffer's brother, and consequently W.L. Shaffer's uncle and after whom W.L. was named.
