Francois and Emilie both died in the hospital after arriving in France, during the Acadian expulsion. All of their children died at sea.
They were traveling on one of the "Cinq Paquebots Anglais" ("Five English Ships") - Yarmouth, Patience, Mathias, Restoration, John Samuel. They arrived in St-Malo on January 23, 1759.
Also traveling with them & both survived (probably niece & nephew) were:
Theodore Bourg, son of Jean, 13 years old
Marie Bourg, his sister, 10 years old
