Fannie was the daughter of Thomas Bolton Roberts I. and Martha Roberts Price.

She married Andrew Jackson Cartwright around 1881 in San Augustine, Texas.

To this union are ten children, Willie Wallace Cartwright, Dennis Jackson Cartwright, Lorenzo D. Cartwright, Amanda Cartwright Montgomery, Martha Cartwright, Sam Houston Cartwright, Louise 'Louiza' Cartwright Jones Garner, Virgie Cartwright Montgomery, Lonnie Cartwright Wilson and Chester Cartwright.

Fannie preceded Andrew in death.
