Sophia of Hungary (born circa 1050 – died 18 June 1095) was a countess of Istria and Carniola and Duchess of Saxony.

Sophia was the daughter of King Béla I of Hungary, of the House of Árpád, and his wife Richeza of Poland.

She was engaged to Margrave William of Meissen. However, he died unexpectedly in 1062, before he could marry her. She then married his nephew Ulrich I.

After Ulrich's death in 1070, she married Duke Magnus of Saxony (died 1106), of the House of Billung.

From her first marriage with Ulrich, she had the following children:
---Ulrich II (died 1112), married Adelaide of Thuringia (died 1146),
---Poppo II (died 1098), married Richgard (died 1130), the daughter of Engelbert I of Istria,
---Richardis, married Otto II, Graf von Scheyern (died circa 1110),
---Adelaide (died 1122), who married (first) to Vogt Frederick II of Regensburg and (secondly) to Count Udalschalk of Lurngau (died 1115), a member of the Grögling-Hirschberg family , and
---Walburga.

From her second marriage with Magnus, she had two daughters:

---Wulfhilde (died 29 December 1126 in Altdorf, buried in Weingarten), married Duke Henry IX "the Black" of Bavaria (died 1126), of the House of Guelph
---Eilika (died 18 January 1142), married Count Otto of Ballenstedt (died 9 February 1123), who was Duke of Saxony and a member of the House of Ascania.
