Otho David Longmire, age 88, of Knoxville, passed away 11/14/14. Member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. His greatest passion other than his family was his lifelong love of automobiles, whether it was selling (for over 60 years), racing or showing antiques. He was a charter member of the Fountain City Masonic Lodge #757 F &AM, & a WW2 Combat Veteran in General Patton's third army in France and Germany. Preceded in death by: Parents, Obie & Vandilla Longmire, Brother Ralph Longmire, & sister Evelyn Rutherford. He is survived by: wife of 63 years, Maxie Irick Longmire, son, Max Longmire, and grandchildren, Tyler, Clark, & Carly Longmire. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday with an 8pm Funeral Service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 1:15 Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 2pm Graveside Service.
