TOOLEY, Kerry
a big man with a big heart, made his final journey on April 5, 2006. He was born May 17, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Chester and Martha Tooley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carol Tooley. He is survived by his daughters Linda Couch, Peggy Tooley, Dottie Walker and their families. He is also survived by his sister Joanne Bird, brother-in-law, Gordon Bird and their family. Kerry was active in all sports and all that the Mojave desert had to offer. In 1947, he was in the first graduating class of Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest, California. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and especially golfing. As a longtime resident of the Antelope Valley he had been a 35 year member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge of Lancaster, California. Kerry was a devoted husband and father. He was a loyal and honored friend. He was and always will be loved by all. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 10, 2006, at Lancaster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers his family requests that any donations go to the American Cancer Society. Halley- Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster Directors.
