Memorial services were at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at First United Methodist Church, Montgomery, with Dr. Karl K. Stegall and Bishop Paul A. Duffey officiating.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Wedowee in 1942 and developed a love for the piano at an early age. She had lived in Montgomery since 1971. She was a past president of the Montgomery/Autauga Medical Auxiliary, a member of the Junior League of Montgomery and served as president of the Montgomery chapter of the Birmingham-Southern Alumni Association. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Barry L. Wilson of Montgomery; one daughter, Anna Cameron Wilson of Atlanta; three sons, Barry L. Wilson Jr. and Clinton Lewis Wilson of Montgomery and Patrick Clinton Wilson of Auburn; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Kerr of Wedowee; and two sisters, Frances Hanson of Troy and Jane Williamson of Montgomery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Melinda K. Wilson Birmingham- Southern Scholarship Fund through First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.
