Funeral services for Barbara Lea Pritchard, 68, of Minden, will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2014 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Jena with Rev. Terry Doughty officiating. Interment will follow at the Pritchard Cemetery in Rhinehart, La. under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena.
Family has requested that visitation be Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 3 to 9 pm at Hixson Brothers in Jena.
Mrs. Barbara Pritchard was born on October 4, 1946 in Jonesville and she passed from this life on November 5, 2014 at Minden Medical Center in Minden, La. She was of the Methodist faith, had a heart of gold and loved to cook.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Emogene Greer of Shreveport; daughter, Renee Pritchard of Trout; son, Edward Pritchard of Marietta, Ok; granddaughter, Sydney Leann Pritchard of Trout; sisters, Nancy Pace of Marshall, TX., Pat Deason of Jena and Lenora Greer of Shreveport, LA.
Preceded in death by father, Howard D. Cross.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Pritchard and Heath Deason.
