DELANEY, William Gerald, age 84, was born April 8, 1921, in London, Ontario, Canada. Passed away April 2, 2006, in Palmdale and was a resident of the Antelope Valley since 1979. William served in the Navy during World War II and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church were he was an usher, past member of the Lancaster Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and VFW. He is survived by three children, Timothy and his wife Melissa Delaney of Palmdale, and Michael and Louanne Delaney; one brother and one sister, Walter Delaney and Elizabeth White both of Michigan, and two grandchildren, Michael Beverland, and Breanna Delaney. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday April 6, 2006, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster. Graveside services to be held at 2 p.m., Friday April 7, 2006, and Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
