Helen was born in Danville, IL, a daughter of Gustav A. and Emma Leek Rindt. Her brothers and sisters were Margaret Hike, Harry Rindt, George Rindt, Howard Rindt, John "Max" Rindt and Alice Roberts Kerans.
She married Carl L. Woodin in 1926. They were the parents of a daughter Dorothy and a son Charles Loren Woodin. They resided in Hammond, IN where Helen was a member of the Women of the Moose. She was also a member of the Vermilion Heights Methodist Church.
She had been ill more than a year, and had been living with her mother for 4 months when she passed away at her mother's home in Danville. She was only 41.
