MRS. AMELIA GLATFELTER DIES NEAR NEIMAN

NEIMAN, May 6 - After a long illness due to complications, Mrs. Amelia Bupp Glatfelter, widow of Peter K. Glatfelter, died today at 12:30 a.m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Reever, near here, Mrs. Reever being a granddaughter of the deceased. She was aged 78 years, 9 months and 2 days.
Her husband preceded her in death five years ago.
The deceased leaves a daughter, Mrs. Howard Shaffer, Seven Valleys; two sons, Adam G. Glatfelter, near here, and William H. Glatfelter, North York; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Miller, New Oxford; Mrs. Alverta Coulson, York; Mrs. Jennie Zeigler and Miss Ella Bupp, East Berlin, besides 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday with brief services at the Reever home at 9:30 a.m., after which concluding services will be held at Shaffer's Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. W. H. Ehrhart, pastor of the Jefferson Lutheran charge, will officiate. Funeral Directors George W. Geiple and Son, Glen Rock, have charge of arrangements.
