DALE WELLS TAKES LIFE BY HANGING, RITES ON SATURDAY
Richwood, OH - The death of Dale F. Wells, 46, of RR2, Richwood, has been ruled suicide by hanging by Union County Coroner Malcolm MacIvor of Marysville.
Mr. Wells died Tuesday, but his body was not discovered until 2 p.m. Thursday in the barn at his farm.
Born in Delaware County, April 22, 1922, his parents were William and Stella Glenn Wells of Leonardsburg, OH.
A farmer, he had lived in the area 17 years.
Survivors include five brothers, Ralph, Alfred and Harry of Columbus, OH; and Gerald and Hal of Delaware, and four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Walters, Mrs. Kathryn Mullins and Mrs. Ruby Boggess of Delaware and Mrs. Jessie Jolliff of Richwood, OH.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bennett-Brown Funeral Home, Delaware, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
