Married Priscilla Craddock in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia but moved to Pittsylvania Co in 1793 with his parents, then moved to Ky, and Nicholas Co., Ky. in 1819. Sometime after the 1830 census, they moved from Bath to Nicholas Co., a county adjoining and NW of Bath where John died in July 1848.

Eliza Fletcher abt. 1 yr. later and 2 children, James & Thomas were born, both living in Missouri. Moved to Bath Co., Ky. in 1819. Died at 73. Baptist.
