Louis W. Dykhoff Sr.

Louis W. Dykhoff Sr., long time resident of North Edwards, passed away quietly surrounded by his family members on March 17, 2006.

Louis was born in Bartlett, North Dakota May 10, 1930, to Frank and Pauline Dykhoff. He proudly served 27 years in the United States Air Force as a Missile Maintenance Technician and a Rocket Engine Mechanic. He retired from the Air Force in Sept. 1978 with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years Vema, his parents and brothers Carl and Lawrence. He is survived by his children Louis Dykhoff Jr. and his wife Lisa of North Edwards, Lance Dykhoff and his wife Judith of Lancaster, Lucy McKee and her husband Gary ofTracy, Lydia Rivera and her husband Jose of North Edwards and Lisa Sigman and her husband Derrell also of North Edwards.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Travis, Michael, Daniel, Melissa, Christina, Louis, LeAnna, Jessica, Frank, Eric, and Andrew and his siblings Lyie, Isabel, Ester, Teresa, Carol, Julie, and Doris.

Services with full military honors were held March 21, 2006 at Stickel Mortuary. He was laid to rest beside his loving wife at the Mojave Cemetery.
